| Remarks | I was sitting at my computer and caught the flash out of the corner of my eye. I looked over to see bright, short, fat train for a couple of seconds. I have photographed a bunch of ionization trains during the Persiids and Geminids over the last 14 years. The low height above the mountains and "stunted" look has me believe it occurred over or beyond Salt Lake City, Utah. The train was very pointed on both ends. |
