Remarks I observed the event through a SiOnyx Aurora Pro night vision camera, which gave me a clear view even though I did not record it. The object had a thick reddish/orange glowing tail and lasted about 3 seconds before fading out.

Remarks It left a thick glowing tail, reddish/orange in color, not a thin streak. The trail was visible the whole time the object moved and faded as it disappeared. It looked more like fire or propulsion than a smoke trail.
