| Remarks | My 10-year-old son Daniel observed the meteor out of his bedroom window in the middle of the night at 4:42 am on August 25, 2025. We live on the sixth floor of an apartment building, and our windows face east, towards Lake Michigan. He saw the meteor fly over the top of our building, towards the northeast over the lake. He said it was a light, blueish-green, and it was bright enough that he could see the light emanating off of it above the building before he saw the meteor fly overhead. He says it looked very similar to the thumbnail photo second from the left at the beginning of this form (the one with the blue meteor flying away from the camera towards the horizon). |
