| Remarks | It was INCREDIBLE. Very much a fireball. Very very bright white and blue with a strong yellow/white trail. It lasted more than 15 seconds, it may have been as much as 30. It was so low to the horizon and looked so close to me that I was scanning the valleys and neighborhoods as I passed, sure I was going to see a fire burning on the ground. The exact location on Highway 68 is approximate. I was on a pitch black highway that I’ve never been on before and there were no land markers for miles. It was 23:35 or 4pm when I looked at the clock. There were approximately 15 minutes on my drive to hotel Willa in Taos. I was too stunned to look at my mileage! |
