Remarks Rural area. Called the closest neighbors (cousins) to make sure they weren’t shooting off fireworks. They weren’t even outside. We drove back up the street, turned around, and returned to see if another similar event might occur, but we did not observe anything further. We also scanned the wooded area to check if there were any people, such as teenagers, setting off fireworks, but we saw no one.
