| Remarks | This was the most incredible thing I'll probably ever see astronomically! It was so very low and bright, it appeared much brighter than the lights of a plane that flies just above the treeline. And with it being early dusk, when the horizon is still a hazy light blue and before any stars are visible, this thing had to be INSANELY bright to appear so bright to the naked eye. And it streaked across the sky long enough for me to say "what is that?" (with time to spare) to the person sitting next to me in the car. |
