| Remarks | I was walking my dogs and only saw the fireball right before it disappeared behind my neighbor's roofline. The fireball was to the east in the general direction of the moon. I initially thought a rocket exploded since I live west of Cape Canaveral, but there were no reports of rocket explosions from that night. I just learned about this website today, but I wanted to report this occurrence from back in March, since it was such a memorable event. I texted my mom (who lives near the coast) as soon as it happened to make sure there wasn't an explosion near her house, so my time/date records should be fairly accurate. |
