Remarks | I was traveling southbound on Hwy 27 and was about 5 miles north of Chattanooga when I saw a bright red streak across the eastern sky to my left. First time I ever seen something that red and bright in the daytime sky. It was fairly large, and I would estimate that it was several miles away. I was near the top of a mountain ridge at the time, so visibility was farther than it would have been on most of my trip. |
