Remarks I did not see the meteor, but I was looking South out a window when a bright light cast a hard shadow of my house on the ground as if the source was just above and behind (north) where I am, and moving extremely fast. The shadow of the 3 story house I was in casted a shadow about 10-15ft suggesting it was slightly north of the house. The brightness had a short flicker, and after watching the circulating video, I realized this must be what the light was from. It was as bright as lightning or brighter and about that hue that the ground gets when lightning lights it up. I was so startled and waited for a boom. There was no noise associated with this. I only heard a faint distant boom maybe 2-3 minutes later and I assume it was not associated with this as nothing was reported. I am shocked to see how close to me the trajectory is labeled as, yet it makes complete sense that this was just north of me. I am almost certain based on the shadow that it was North and slightly West of where I was and traveled East. This last about or less than 1 second. I really don't want my name publicized.
