Remarks We were walking across the Zoo Bridge from Cologne Deutz/Messe towards the zoo. It was around 4:00 a.m./morning... We wanted to watch the sunrise on the Rhine/riverbank when suddenly a large ball of fire with a tail appeared in the sky in front of us. It shone brightly but disappeared after a few seconds. We could hardly believe it because it looked so bright and relatively large, and we couldn't take a photo quickly enough. I immediately googled it because I thought several people must have seen it, or maybe webcams from Cologne had recorded it, but we couldn't find anything... The fireball was beautiful and huge, or rather close; you could clearly see it. Many years ago, I saw two or three shooting stars in rural Münster. It was very dark there, and the fireballs were tiny compared to the one on the Cologne Zoo Bridge on June 21, 2025... Plus, it was Midsummer here... I hope you can find a photo from a webcam showing this "miracle." Love & light, Gabriele (Gabi) from Cologne, NRW, Germany
