| Remarks | It started off just hanging there, bright orange, just slightly below and left of the moon in the ESE sky over the ocean. I was standing on the top balcony of our 4 story oceanfront house. After hanging there it started falling downward toward the ocean, then ended. It reminded me more of a firework or possible rocket than a meteor (from the few I’ve seen) however it was so fully over the ocean it couldn’t have been a firework. No boats were visible in the area either. |
