Reports Report 3006a (Event 3006-2025)

Observer
Name Tim G
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks The photo I sent captures the exact field of view, but not the actual meteor (sorry, that's a fib on my part). Bizarrely, the colour of the street lamp (and reflection, which is a camera artefact) is very close to the actual colour I observed. The object was constant brightness, much brighter and faster moving than any satellite (or sat flare) I have seen. I picked up a moving bright light in my peripheral vision and was able to observe it for ~0.5 seconds until it disappeared (seemingly) behind the top right edge of the cloud in the photo. Hopefully you can get the picture metadata off the phone, it was long exposure, so much darker than it seems. Given there was a half moon, the object itself must have been extremely bright, brighter than I've ever seen venus by some way.
