I was leaving a friend’s house at 10:40PM and saw what I thought was a big bright shooting star in the sky. But it wasn’t like a regular shooting star I’ve seen, it was way brighter and had a short tail. It was much larger/seemed closer than past shooting stars I’ve seen. I saw it for a couple seconds then ran back to my friend’s door to get them to come out. By the time we all came out again (maybe 15 seconds later), it was gone. What we saw looked just like what is seen in this video, except we didn’t see the end because we had ran back to my friend’s house.

By the way I love that we have the American Meteor Society, it was such a relief to see other reports when I wanted to know more. So thankful for all of your guys work - you guys are awesome.
