I am interested in knowing if I misidentified this. It could have been a jet passing through Noctilucent clouds (flashing as it did so), or space debris ( like a Starlink satellite falling). But after I heard the sonic boom I concluded it was likely a meteor.

The object looked like a high flying jet with a bright contrail but it was glowing and flashing as it passed and finally flashed one last time before disappearing (after perhaps the 3rd flash)
