| Remarks | I was outside cleaning the back patio and noticed the half moon. I looked up and thought I saw a plane, but it was moving much faster and the tail was unusual... Since I moved out here in August I've seen lots of shooting stars and it's really sparked my interest in astronomy. I'd love to know what you find out, if anything! |

| Delayed Sound | |

| Observation | Yes |
| Remarks | My wife and I both heard a low frequency boom, about 20 seconds after what looked like a distant explosion. The particles from the explosion were fine and light blue, white as if something had passed through fog or a cloud. I've never seen anything like this. |
| Persistent train | |
|---|---|
| Observation | Yes |
| Duration | 5s |
| Length | 1° |
| Remarks | At first I thought it was a comet, because it looked like a meteor streak with an obvious tail. The tail was about a pinky-width long at arm's length. It looked like a solid, then dotted line and was persistent until the fragmentation. |
| Terminal flash | |
|---|---|
| Observation | Yes |
| Remarks | Not so much of a flash, more of like a cloud had suddenly burst from it. It was slightly dimmer that the object or the tail. |
| Fragmentation | |
|---|---|
| Observation | Yes |
| Remarks | The tail, object, and particles quickly disappeared after fragmentation. Only the main body remained for about another 30 seconds. It slowly faded to disappear completely. |
