Reports Report 1467l (Event 1467-2012)

Observer
Name Josiah C
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks My initial notes I made recalling a few years after the incident: Noticed green Fireball in sky while on way home from teaching youth group in south charleston OH, moved top of windshield to bottom, thought it was firework but then didn’t explode/go out, In Dad’s truck, Sunday night, 8pm, Oct 2012, bright green fireball about the size of my thumbnail, perhaps a little smaller, no real tail to speak of, perhaps a small one, lasted for about 30sec to a minute, I was traveling across south charleston southeast approx to northwest (approx following west jamestown st) followed for about a half-mile, lost sight below tree-line/houses/horizon, pinched myself several times, had feeling of fear, hair on back of neck stood on end, the ball separated slightly as it moved away from me, moved up to down, but also feeling of moving away, medium level of fast, slow enough that I could follow in the truck, but fast enough that it “got away after a minute”.
