| Remarks | 2nd one I've seen in my life that was this low. The one I saw in 78 or 79 was low enough that I could hear the muffled friction and saw it eventually burn out to darkness. This one stayed bright until it disappeared over the treeline and I could not hear anything, but it was very low, 2000 feet or less (I'd say 1000 feet). |
