Remarks It was amazing! I had just dropped off my husband at PDX and was driving home. It was dark and I noticed this bright object on my right, moving from right to left. I LOVE watching for shooting stars, so I always notice the sky. It was cloudy and when I saw it, it was large and moving and I'm thinking to myself, 'WHAT is that??? It's NOT an airplane....(since my Pops was a pilot, I am used to airplanes)..it's not clear, is it a shooting star?' I continued to watch it in amazement, so tickled pink that I was witnessing it as it dashed across the sky! It didn't really have a tail as shooting stars do, but it did have a little bit of a trail. Mostly, it was just a ball of fire from horizon to horizon. If there was a sound, I was unaware as the windows were up as it was chilly that morning.
