Reports Report 1893a (Event 1893-2025)

Observer
Name Jeff S
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks We had been laying on the ground just stargazing (at the Basin in Big Bend National Park). We got up to leave and turned to face Casa Grande when all of a sudden this huge bright meteor/fireball comes flying over Casa Grande. It looked like it was shot off the top. It was the biggest brightest thing I’ve ever seen, it lasted 2-3 seconds. The tail was solid white/yellow and had a bright white detached ball leading the way.
