Reports Report 1774dm (Event 1774-2025)

Observer
Name Suzanne C
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks I was driving on the highway when the streak of light came across the sky on my right side moving in the left side direction in an arc form. It seemed to last forever, like a strong earthquake can feel longer than what it was. At first I thought it was a shooting star but it lasted awhile as it kept streaking across the sky until it was falling down and got less bright and fizzled out. There seemed to be some blinking sparks under the tail. My time of sighting is approximately, it was just after 9:00pm. It sure was a sight to see, I feel so lucky to have witness it. Only wish I wasn’t driving so I could have taken pictures. I found others who saw what I saw, here is a link to their reporting. https://www.reddit.com/r/sanfrancisco/comments/1jjavko/anyone_have_an_id_for_that_fireball_that_went/ Thank you for having this site to report what I saw.
