Reports Report 1774w (Event 1774-2025)

Observer
Name Holly C
Experience Level 2/5
Remarks Never seen anything quite like this. I have seen meteor showers before but this was a single bright object with a distinct tail and larger than any shooting star I have ever seen. I have seen a couple of comets in my life and this was bigger than the largest comet I that I can remember, plus the comets were steady and not in a rapid descent or path. I am in a mountainous redwood forest so lost sight as it fell below the tree line.
