Reports Report 1694ba (Event 1694-2025)

Observer
Name Peter S
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks The sky was light, being just a few minutes before sunrise. It was already bright when appeared from behind the building (the bus station's main building), so the real duration might have been longer. The brightness and color were constant until the fragmentation. The horizon (between the buildings) is blocked by a hill up to ca. 5-7degs, the meteor was hardly above it, almost disappearing behind the hill at the end. (I'm a meteorologist at the Hungarian Met. Service. I'm on holiday now and I was waiting for the bus towards the start point of my hiking trip. I didn't have internet until now.)
