| Remarks | Caught this while driving south on M53 through downtown Imlay City—super vivid green fireball, like a firework mortar but pure green, with a round head and thicker tail that faded right behind it. No sparks or lingering trail, just a solid glow. Second green fireball I’ve seen in a year (last one ~March(ish) 2024,I mistook it for a firework then but knew better this time!!). This didn’t light up the whole sky like a huge event I saw a few years back 2018 i believe —just a bright, flare-like streak. Sky was clear, Orion stood out bright that night. Hope this helps track it! UNIMPORTANT-also your sight said it's a once in a lifetime opportunity and I've seen two plus the flash in 2018(didn't see the actual meteor) :) |
