I described to someone that if you extend your arm fully out and open your fingers 3-4", that was the duration of the travel in the sky. I've never seen one explode which is why it's was so exciting for me.

It traveled right to left, slightly downward then exploded sending "sparks" to the right and slightly downward. The fragments were kind of orange.
