Reports Report 2765dg (Event 2765-2013)

Observer
Name David W
Experience Level 4/5
Remarks Broke apart, blue and white, before hitting the ground, but seemed VERY close. I expected a shockwave and a sonic boom. It could have been a faulty mortar/firework that didn't explode, but thrusted downwards. Did not explode. Looked a lot like a meteor burning up in re-entry, but again very close and not high in the sky. I was driving on the freeway and expected to hear noise, did not hear any. Possibly because of the rate of speed/noise from 1964 vehicle with a loud big block ford motor, or again, possible it was a "dud" firework in which the characteristics of its faultiness made it look like a meteor re-entry
