Reports Report 2765az (Event 2765-2013)

Remarks my second report in 5 days - two most spectacular meteors of my life! I caught only the tail end of this one as I was driving in my driveway under a canopy of trees. attention was caught by two flashes that lit up the entire sky. first I thought "lightning". two flashes were .25 or so seconds apart and then I looked up and to the east-northeast saw the end of a meteor train, which dissipated in under a second. only color observed was white (both ambient light and final train). magnitude tough to estimate but anything that lights up the entire sky like that is full moon or brighter in my educated guessing. I have a report from a nearby friend who was inside and thought it was "headlights" - I believe you will get more reports about this one from the San Diego area; hopefully at least one that describes the whole event!
