| Remarks | I saw reports from Minneapolis Twin Cities area, but cannot find any other accounts from Iowa. We were driving west toward Perry, IA on Highway 141 when I saw it out my passenger window to the north, falling toward ground in an east-west trajectory. I did find a video from Reddit from Loretta, MN of the fireball observed at the same time. Video: https://vimeo.com/1059580939 — In my position it was very bright and prominent, almost like it may have broken up around the Ogden, IA area (very rough guesstimate, could have been further north, I am not a scientist, but VERY enthused I saw a fireball/meteor at what looked to be a close range.) |
