Remarks | Quite impressive, large and bright. Did not light up the sky but you couldn't miss it if you were facing the right direction. I did not see its' entire path, only the tail end. Seemed to be slower moving than some meteors I've seen ....perhaps my imagination or due to its' size. Much brighter and larger than any celestial object I've seen in the sky short of the moon. Bigger & brighter than observed large rocket launches from Wallops Island, VA (as viewed from the Baltimore area). |
