This was an amazing sighting. I fear it was so far away that I would have no chance of finding any fragments - though i always dream that some day, i will.

Size of ball grew and intensity went bright, then quickly disappeared (seems like my eyes lost track after it went bright - retina adjusting for bright light?). I was traveling 55 mph on a straight highway with no traffic and no street lights to block my view. I did not see any fragmentation.
