Very low to the horizon which made me suspect of its origin. Very fiery bright with a long fiery train. It truly seemed to glow. Seemed very close and likely to land near by. I was suspicious of a plane on fire. very slight downward curve. Since it was low on the horizon it was well below clouds for view.
