Name Sarah A
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks Im 67 years old and have never seen anything like this. I thought maybe it was an airplane on fire and going down but it was too fast and only lasted about 3 seconds. I dont know if I saw an explosion. It's brightness immediately caught my attention. I was looking out my back yard waitìng for my dog. I live on a canal so there were very few lights . I was so excited to see what I believe is my first fireball. It sure got me excited enough to start researching fireballs, meteors, and shooting stars. Living in Michigan, we get our share of meteor showers and Ive see plenty of shooting stars. This was a thrill that I will remember! The only other super exciting thing Ive seen in the sky is the Hale-Bopp comet back in1997, as I was waiting in line at Disney World in Orlando!! Wow..so exciting!!!❤️💫
