I knew it when I first saw it that it wasn't a plane. All I could explain to my husband was it was like a comet flying across the sky. The tail of it was what caught my eye. It was bright but didn't seem that high in the sky. It seemed like it was as high as a plane would be flying and as it traveled west (seemed more like NW) I lost sight of it. It seemed like it burned up going over the Hillsboro airport but I never saw or heard anything.
