I did not see any smoke the sky was dark, but the meteor looked like a bog sparkler and the tail was blueish white then yellowish as you looked back. It glowed but left a small line in the sky so it might have been smoke I could not see it other than the line it left

It was like a sparkler, a big one and you could see little sparks off of it than glowed for a second then I could not see where they went
