It was visible for a long time! I thought at first “huh. Weird plane.” Then I stared longer and realized it was too rounded for a plane. My husband and I both took a good look as we drove and realized it was on fire. He was the one who said Meteor. I was afraid it was some sort of UFO lol but we did see it get very close and the flames before it went out of our line of sight below a tree line down highway 190.
