Remarks A friend who resides in Southwest Washington also saw the meteor while driving Eastward. He said it appeared to be coming straight at him when he first noticed the fireball. Upon the fireball passing, my friend said that it looked like it was moving in a West by Northwest direction. He estimated observing it for approximately 20 seconds with a mostly unobstructed view.
