Observer
Name Mike K
Experience Level 1/5
Remarks A Facebook friend in Battle Creek WA, shared seeing the fireball. I am in Mukilteo, WA about 300 miles north. The fireball seemed so close to me. Had to be a pretty big occurrence for it to have been observed from that distance, and yet so big, bright and all that.

Remarks Bright white trail stretched from where the fireball first appeared in the east and continued a bit after the fireball was lost from sight behind some trees to the west. While on my walk this morning, I looked up at the crescent moon, just as an extremely bright white light appeared, from just below the moon. I froze in my tracks as it appeared to come right toward me then passed by in front of me from east to west, trailing a long white streak. Got my adrenalin going to be sure.
