Reports Report 7878n (Event 7878-2024)

Observer
Name Goldie C
Experience Level 1/5
Remarks This meteor tripped the motion sensor on my security camera. I wasn’t outside at the time. I do “star gaze” but, at first I thought this was a man made lantern of some sorts that burst. I’ve seen shooting stars across the sky that looked like streaks but never any falling from the sky. Josh Patton a friend and neighbor identified this as a meteor. The meteor was in the west sky directly across from the front of my home.
