Remarks Observation from a moving vehicle eastbound on Interstate 8. It started as a white star that I first thought was an airplane, then it developed a green tail and finally fragmented into many pieces and sparks.

Remarks It broke into about 6 or 8 irregular fragments in a close grouping each with a green tail. There were many orange sparks with the fragments. The fragments stayed close together going the same direction.
