| Remarks | I actually saw 2, one right after the other! From the comfort of my warm living room on this frigid 15°F night. Looking out the windows that face a giant farm field. The second one was approximately 50-75 ft to the right of the first one, I saw it no more than a second or 2 after the first one..looking in the exact same direction, it traveled in the same direction, started and finished the same way. I did see a small trail/tail following the big bright ball of light. It was amazing! Unlike any other "shooting star" that I've ever seen, so I'm guessing they were fireballs. I've been watching meteor showers for the last 40 years..I've never seen anything so large and bright, and appearing so close, before this tonight. What a sight to see! |
