Remarks I did not record the exact time. It took me a while to absorb what I had just seen and figure it out. The time Wan a close approximation. I have seen meteors streak across the sky at high altitude and then disappear. This was the first time I saw anything like this that came down from not that high when I first saw it continuing at a 39 degree angle and finally fragmenting with a green flash then disappearing at what appeared to be a low altitude. I wonder if it all turned up or if any pieces survived and hit the ground. The whole event happened very quickly and unexpectedly. There was no was I could have gotten my phone to take a picture. The meteor was amazing and that was the first time I ever saw anything like that before. It was beautiful and very exciting.
