| Remarks | Security camera video, looking Southwest from Winnipeg. The sky was mostly clear. After seeing a Reddit post: https://www.reddit.com/r/Winnipeg/comments/1hdfvdt/meteor_sighting/ I checked my security camera footage, and found this recording on a camera I recently set up. This is a Lorex 2k indoor wireless camera, looking out the window to the Southwest at an angle. Unfortunately, the recording was dropping frames, so the quality is not great, and only 6 frames were recorded when the meteor was visible. The video is cropped to 1920x1080 and slowed down to half speed. This was the first meteor captured with this camera. |
