Remarks This one is my 2nd meteor, the first was either 1999 or 2000 in Pocahontas, Illinois. That meteor was very big but was bright red coming down stopping cars on Hwy 70 heading from St Louis to Pocahontas and this one I only caught the tail end of

Remarks It was a white fat smoke trail like an airplane leaves taking off into the sky, but you could actually see that this was bigger towards the top coming thru the clouds, getting skinnier coming down. It was relatively dark and clear so I'd say the trail I saw went every bit of 3 miles thru hwy 255 and Maryville Rd it was real predominate when I went in to the gas mart and was pretty much faded when I came out a half hour later
