| Remarks | At first I thought this might be a green firework somebody lite off but it was 12:25 AM and you could tell it was really far away, not close. There were pluses of green light as the meteor burned up, which I’ve seen in meteor videos posted on-line. I’ve seen annual meteor showers, Perseid, and this meteor was much brighter. The light from the meteor definitely ended before it got close to the horizon, so a meteor not a meteorite. It did not go across the sky, it seemed to come from above and go directly down (East direction I’m guessing). First time I’ve seen something like this, super cool. |
