It looked much closer and brighter to me than any meteor I’ve seen during past meteor showers (Leonids) I’ve observed. VERY cool and made me call a friend immediately after to share.

It looked like a very bright single point but then fragmented into one medium sized bright spot with multiple little pieces following right behind/beside it.
