Reports Report 7372r (Event 7372-2024)

Observer
Name Michael V
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks This sighting lasted the better part of 2 seconds, maybe more. It entered the atmosphere, quickly became brighter than Venus, maintained that steady brightness for 2 seconds, then faded quickly with no flash or fragmentation. To me, it looked like it grazed the atmosphere and skipped back out into space. Very cool fireball! My wife also saw it while we were driving south on Rt. 31 in Hampton, NJ, off to our forward left.
