| Remarks | One of the most extraordinary things I have ever seen - magical, awe-inspiring. As it descended it was bright enough to back-light an entire stand of spruce trees. My husband turned east and saw another more garden-variety meteor almost immediately after, but it was a commonplace compared to the one I'm describing here, which was almost due north of our position. |
