Remarks Was setting up telescope when I noticed bright meteor almost overhead just after 6pm. Was facing north towards Polaris when I noticed it almost overhead, over my left shoulder, heading towards north of east. Was obscured by house roof before it disappeared. Yellow in appearance. Sky had lots of thin cloud.
