Looking south/ southwest through a window from the couch toward BlueRidge, I saw bright white light streak east to west (my left to right) at a slightly downward angle to the horizon (from higher to lower) for about 1 second then a quick slightly brighter burst into a larger disk shape then quickly back down to the smaller size as it streaked out of view in my window. Maybe 3 seconds total. There was no noise heard inside the house with TV etc.
I thought maybe a strange firework but no smoke or loud bang... I walked to the window and saw no evidence of it and waited to make sure there were no fireworks going on
