Remarks I'm not sure about the time but it was at least past seven pm. Lying on my back on my bed facing South, the bright object/sparks caught my eye and it seemed very proximate (maybe a mile away.

Remarks Like droplets/sparks of glowing lava. I was lying on my bed facing south and the top of the window was line of sight. at about 40 degrees the neighbor's roof obscured line of sight

Remarks It dropped straight down out of the sky top to bottom. Huge like nothing I've ever seen. up and around it were discrete globules of lava/sparks like steel on a grinder.
