| Remarks | This is a duplicate report. There were problems with the original report on 2024-10-24. Security camera videos, looking East South East from Winnipeg. The sky was mostly clear. After seeing a report from Thunder Bay by Braden F., I checked security camera footage, and found 2 cameras had recorded the meteor. Probably part of this event: https://fireball.amsmeteors.org/members/imo_view/event/2024/6296 The end of the meteor path may be cropped in both videos by the roof of a nearby house, due to the very low angle. The nearby bright star is Rigel, at 118 degrees. Both videos are cropped to 1920x1080. |
